Welcome to protozoans! You may think you’ve never heard of them, but do you recognize Malaria, Trichomonas, Giardia, or Toxoplasmosis? These are all protozoans or protozoan diseases. Protozoans are single-celled eukaryotic organisms, a subset of which cause human and animal disease. In this episode, we will talk about some of the more common protozoan pathogens.
